"Good , initial check-in was slow . Only one person on reception despite it being around 3.30pm when a number of people were arriving for check-in staff tried to be very helpful and indeed one used his personal phone charger to charge my phone for me the lady in the shop also allowed me to purchase a couple of items despite me going about 5 minutes after her closing time." clean and functional

room not of the standard on the photograph - but acceptable

The room was excellent. The upgrade was much appreciated.

"A clean comfortable room was all that we required and is what we got. The proximity to Heathrow and the Hotel bus service were instrumental in choosing the hotel. We also had a nice evening meal at reasonable cost." (97925801)

It was just a one night stay because of an early flight from Heathrow and proved to be ideal for that purpose

"THis is a good place to stay near the airport for a cost conscious traveler. The lack of direct access to Terminal 4 is a problem and people traveling on KLM or other airlines that go in and out of terminal 4 should look for another option." (97258571)

The accomodation was convenient to Heathrow and was economical.

The airport transit bus did not go to Terminal 4.

"We enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were great and room service quick. There were two places on site where we could have eaten and we had a lovely breakfast at 'The Pulse' bistro. Getting the Hoppa bus to airport was very easy - at front door, with the ticket machine at the hotel saving time." (97012956)

Beds very comfy. Rooms very clean. Choice of resteraunts nearby. Very close to Airport.

Not enough Tea bags in room!! After 4 weeks in Australia we were looking forward to a good cuppa. Although I am sure we could have got some more if w'd asked.

"When I arrived I was a little concerned about getting a car-park as there were a very large number of cars parked there associated with various conferences. A guarantee of a spot would have been good. Apart from that and the need for some maintenance in the guest rooms, I found my stay very pleasant. I could have obtained cheaper accommodation, but not immediately adjacent to Heathrow. The staff were very responsive, and pleasant." (97515959)

Its location; right opposite to the entrance of Heathrow from the A4, was ideal for my purpose as I needed to have a car park. Also because I had to return my Hertz car before checking in 3 hours prior to my flight to Australia at 0920 am. I could not have guaranteed to get to Heathrow from the Cotswolds on the morning of my flight, so overnight accommodation adjacent to Heathrow was a must.

It is in need of some refurbishment in the rooms. Althoughit was very clean there were many cracks in the grouting in the bathroom.

"In terms of value for money, the Park Inn was excellent. Our room was spacious and well equipped, and the communal areas were clean and spacious. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet for one so close to the airport terminals. Room service food was very good quality, but expensive. We did not use the bar or restaurant as we arrived late, but they looked quite pleasant. However, the check-in experience was less impressive - it took around 15 minutes, not what you want late at night before an early start...." (99375218)

Very quiet, especially for an airport hotel. Spacious room, well laid out and well equipped. Nice modern decor.

The check-in process was terrible, long queues and slow service - not what you want when you've been travelling all day and it's late at night.

It was very convenient to Heathrow and it meant I was able to get a good five hours sleep in transit from Vancouver to Lisbon via London.

There was a very noisy wedding party. and there was quite a queue for check in at 10:30 at night.

"I was stressed and tied after a heavy few days business in London and booked the hotel as the web images looked good and it was near to the airport so I could rest prior to an early flight, the room was bad, awful like a hostel, this I could have possibly lived with had the hot water pressure been sufficient and I not had to knell in the bath to shower, bed was not comfortable window would not open air conditioning did not work so I could not sleep as was sweating could not shower properly in the morning, what more to say for one nights stay!!!" (99301846)

location of the hotel was great, the primary common areas of the hotel where good, my room was terible

the room was the worst i have ever stayed in, it was like a hostel, depresing

  • 8/10 Leslie ( Mature couple)

from London , GB  on  May 29, 2007

    It was to international standards.

Accommodation was fine but the bar staff although friendly were a too slow: after hours of travel I wanted to be served quickly and even though there were two barkmen and they were servicing only one person it took ages to get our drinks.

  • 8/10 Roger ( Mature couple)

from Exeter , GB  on  May 22, 2007

"Dining was rather a mixed experience. The room is not large and although the staff were pleasant and helpful there was little they could do to juggle successfuly with the combination of very young and quite old diners and the former certainly got on the nerves of the latter. We were seated and had ordered drinks before I discovered that all the food at the buffet that night was Indian themed - and I loathe curry. It was possible to order an alternative from the a la carte menu but the delay while I was served and the others ate did rather spoil the meal. However the deserts were delicious." (99269597)

I booked 2 rooms - one for myself and one for my elderly parents whom I was escorting to the airport. The rooms were spotlessly clean and reasonably well appointd. The beds were extremely comfortable.

My parents room was easily accessed but mine was an inordinate walk from reception. Presumably you only allocate rooms in this range to the fit and able-bodied but even so!

"The hotel was very adequate for an overnight stay prior to going to Heathrow the following day. The coffeee at the Pulse was appalling and cold. The pre packed sandwich (BLT) was also appalling with the bacon very fatty, the lettuce limp and the bread doughy. The evening meal was good, hot and served by very friendly and helpful staff." (99484577)

    Excellent room. Good size

I booked a twin room but was first given a double. I was staying overnight with my mother so sleeping with her was not an option. As soon as I explained this to the receptionist I was given a free upgrade to a first class twin room as there were no standard doubles available.
