"it is ok, but not up to the expected hilton standards." (97205487)

the convenience of being at terminal 4 for an early morning flight.

the long walk thru a freezing tunnel from the terminal to the airport. no wifi in the room. not very good food in 2 restaurants.

Room was exceptionally quiet (both internal and external noise). Interior atrium very dramatic. Proximity to terminal.

Restaurant food was average for price. Servers were too aggressive in taking order (we wanted to RELAX and they came back four or five times asking to take our order!) and then forgot several items (beverage, salad)

The closeness to the airport, that airport lugage buggies were easily accessible, the felxibibility for check out, the check-in and -out staff were lovely, TVs were great too, and nice to have internet access with link-cords provided.

The fact that the windows in my room fasted an public courtyard and had to be curtained at night for privacy, and that I had to figure that out..could have been informed by staff, and my room was a bit cold at night...

"I've stayed at the Heathrow Hilton twice now and both times the check in process, even at 22.00, was very slow. There is not adequate staff at the check in counter. I had few bags but I feel a customer should have help with their luggage, even if it's a hanging bag." (97205503)

very nice room, overlooking atrium of hotel. room and hallway was very quiet

although the room was non-smoking and smoking in buildings in London is prohibited, the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke.

People were really pleasant. Easy access to Heathrow.

Bathroom faucet was not working properly.

"I would have liked more milk for tea/coffee. I would have liked access to the mini bar." (97552328)

The hotel was idealy situated for terminal 4 arrivals and was an excellent way to complete our trip to New York.

I felt like a second class citizen because i chose to use such an out moded method of payment ie cash instead of credit card.

"Convenient but the rooms could use some updating as well as the corridor areas." (107182377)

Lobby and restraunts. Access to Heathrow.

Rooms and corridors are dated and dimly lit.

"Nothing actually wrong with the hotel - but terrible value for money! Seriously unimpressed when they tell you they're fully booked & they're not!" (108039986)

For £270 I think they could provide a shuttle bus to T1,2 & 3! I phoned up to book - told them I was a Hilton Honors member, & was told they were fully booked. so I logged onto Active Hotels (whilst sat in T3) & booked straight-away. In addition, when i turned up - they had no record of my activehotels booking (not enough time for it to feed through to the front desk) - So they just gave me another room! How is that fully booked??

"An excellent hotel with first class facilities in probably the most convenient location of all hotels at Heathrow Airport. I had a room service meal, which was excellent and a breakfast prior to departure. The fact that I obtained the room at a discounted rate on the internet made it incredibly good value for money for a hotel of this quality." (97662004)

location, facilities and value for money.

The hotel itself was very nice, as a building, in the same time the reception was really warm and professional.

i had some problems with online menu via the tv, the wakeup call didn't work and i nearly missed my flight

"Check out was very poor .A long queue and 10 minutes before extra staff arrived to help" (97055757)

    Clean and comfortable

shower operation button was not fixed to the operating rod

"relatively painless (free) experience to access the hotel from heathrow (t1) to (t4) and covered walkway (allow half an hour if you need to get back to the airport in the morning just because of time delays on the heathrow express between terminals). hotel was quiet clean and modern. room size good, bathroom good. only bugbear is why is room service so expensive? feels like a rip-off as you are a captive audience when you've been travelling all day and too tired to sit in the restaurant. I know this happens world wide but it still grates every time I read a room menu. otherwise comfortable and easy." (97808941)

convenient for heathrow, modern and clean

    room service very expensive
